Take a bit of time for yourself towards the end of a busy week. This gentle yoga class is especially for Mums. We focus on stretching and strengthening, relaxing and releasing, all the bits that get tired and over burdened from our backs and shoulders, to our heads and hearts. We follow a seasonal flow of yoga and themes, and have ‘stay behind suppers’ at the end of each term - mince pies, hot cross buns, strawberries & cream!

Yoga is a wonderful way to look after yourself in the months after birth and it brings a sense of well being & equilibrium amongst all the change.

Bring your baby along and do some yoga to gently stretch, strengthen and rebalance the body, undoing tension and combating fatigue. Babies are entertained with songs, massage and cuddles.

Suitable from 6 weeks after birth until walking.

What do I need?


If you have a yoga mat, bring it along. I have a stash of mats at the class to loan out if you don’t have one to begin with. The room is warm and comfy but bring cushions & blankets if you like to make yourself really cosy. It’s useful to bring a little blanket for your baby to rest on when they are not in arms.


What to expect?


There’s no competition. It doesn’t matter what you look like, or if you have sick on your shoulder.

Don’t worry if you’re late, come in anyway - all mums know that we’d never get anywhere if we always had to be on time!!

There is a lending library of parenting, baby development books at the class, and a directory full of local info to browse.

Each week has a different focus to do with mothering/baby development and handouts accompany where appropriate.

We finish with a cup of tea and a biscuit (and sometimes cake!)

Please note: I cannot refund you for missed classes or carry them over to the next block but you are welcome to attend another class as a make-up within the same term. If I have to cancel a class due to illness/poor weather/being at a birth, I will of course reimburse you. Thanks for your understanding.
